Lulu Bar
How we designed and manage the ongoing music program at Lulu Bar

Introduction
The Ask
Lulu Bar, a trendy Polynesian-inspired restaurant, had a beautifully designed downstairs cocktail lounge that was under-utilized, with most guest traffic concentrated upstairs. The goal was to activate the lower level, drive foot traffic, and bring energy and purpose to the space.

STRATEGY
The Strategy
We activated Lulu’s downstairs lounge by introducing a DJ program Thursday through Saturday, centered around a late-night happy hour. The music direction leaned into tropical and Afro house sounds, reflecting the Polynesian-inspired aesthetic and creating a warm, escapist atmosphere.
By programming DJs during peak transition hours, the space became more visible and inviting, naturally drawing guests downstairs for a cozy, late-night cocktail and snack experience.
